About IWC

Founded in 1998, the International Women’s Club (IWC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization administered entirely on a voluntary basis by its members.

Global and diverse

Our club brings together a vibrant and inclusive community of over 140 women from more than 30 countries, including the Dominican Republic. English is our common language, enabling us to connect across cultures and backgrounds.

A closer look

Primarily, but not exclusively, composed of expatriates, we unite and empower women who live in or come to the Dominican Republic for work or family reasons. Among our members are businesswomen, entrepreneurs, diplomats, and professionals from diverse fields. For more than two decades, IWC has extended a warm embrace to newcomers, fostering lasting friendships and creating a strong support network.

Our vision

Our unity is forged through a shared vision of promoting cultural diversity, empowering women, and making a positive impact in our host country. We take pride in offering a wide range of enriching activities and charitable initiatives that contribute meaningfully to the Dominican community and enrich the lives of our members.
